*At a tennis tournament, I met another Leap Day baby who lives
in Chicago. We share the only year that has only 2's and 9's
in their birth date! My due date was around March 7th.
Although only a few weeks ago I celebrated my fourth birthday,

This past year I went out with friends to a bar to celebrate
(as we don't get many opportunities to drink on our actual
day) my 7th birthday and met another Leap Day baby who was
turning 6. I also got to meet Kirk Herbstreet from College
Gameday as my husband knows a buddy of his and got a picture
(total hottie).

Brady James Toogood was born on Friday 29th February 2008, at
10:44pm not only is he special to be born on Leap Year Day, he
also has hircshbrungs disease, a rare bowel condition that
only affects 1 in 5000 babies per year in Australia, he has
just had a 6 and half hour operation last Friday and is doing
much better now, he is now 12 days old and I should finally be
able to take him home this Thursday or Friday I CANT
WAIT......

1968, at (then my home address) was born a child of female
sex.....who was received by (the midwife-name), she was in
perfect condition despite being born one moth before
expected..bla.bla,bla, any way I find it pretty cute ......My
children love the idea that I have just 11 years, I always
say, well only 11 birthdays .......

Many in the general public seem to think that being a 29er is
a disadvantage. I've never found it to be so, and I've tried
hard over the years to disabuse them of that notion. When a

"What day do you celebrate your birthday" my standard response
is "What ever day falls after February 28th. I have a theory
that Leap Day babies all seem to have DIMPLES am I right or

due to come until April 5th but I wanted to start out my life

I was rushed with the flying squad in emergency, my mother had
an accident I was diverted through preswick, I decided to pop
out into the world then. I was diverted into the carpark of
prestwick police station it was touch and go, my mother's life
or me. My mum wanted to carry on... 2 minutes past midnight I
was born I must have been the youngest to enter the police
records but it does not stop... I was the first Leap Day baby
in Ayrshire in records and daily papers. I am 13 now, seems
like yesterday my mother died aged 66. I miss her so much a
brave kind hearted lady.
